| Personal History | Ryssa is the daughter of two scientists who often traveled to do research. She spent her childhood on a small ship. She had lotsw of time to learn and a holosuite to fuel her imagination. As she grew older, she began to help her parents in their work, doing the computer work and writing up the reports. She always planned on following in her parents' footsteps, studying history and ancient cultures. But instead of joining her parents in their work, she decided to join Starfleet as a scientist. She enjoyed the expanded workload of a Starfleet science officer and soon found herself assistant, then chief science officer. She was surprised when she was asked to be second officer, and even more when she was asked to be first officer. She enjoys the additional challenges and the ability to learn new things, but sometimes she wishes she could go back to science. |
